Some individuals used detergent or water to wipe stubborn marks on the surface of the disc, but this approach is not recommended as chemicals could totally damage your disc surface.

Another important reminder is to not leave a single fingerprint on the surface of the blu ray. Always pick up the disc by holding surface edge and not the inner surfaces. A single fingerprint left on the surface may affect the overall performance of the disc. For some instances that your blu ray disc does have surface scratches, you can take them to an expert who knows how to solve irregularities that affects the performance.
