The extremely popular photographer and camera accessory maker Ulanzi has unveiled a unique and very practical new One-Click vlogging tripod.
The brand describes its new release as “revolutionary” and explains that its key standout feature is a one-click transformation mechanism for switching from handheld to tripod modes with a single button push.
The company adds that this rapid deployment system lets the VlogPod TT38’s legs open up and lock into position in just a single second, letting vloggers, videographers and photographers adapt their shooting with maximum convenience.
The one-click button on the VlogPod TT38 is located in one of the tripod’s legs, making it easy to access and hard to forget while you’re concentrating on your video work.
Other features of the new vlogging tripod are designed to further improve the effectiveness of this simplified multi-deployment system.
The VlogPod TT38 is designed with vloggers firmly in mind but is also versatile enough to be used by others with a range of camera shooting needs in urban, studio or country scenarios.
Some of the other key aspects of the new VlogPod TT38 include the following:
Integrated Ballhead
This is a built-in gimbal that lets the VlogPod TT38 support extremely adjustable tilt angles and easy shifting between either horizontal or vertical shooting.
This works particularly well with the tripod’s one-click system to let vloggers change their filming angles on the go in seconds.
Ulanzi’s Quick-Release System
Ulanzi already has a development history of applying quick-release mechanisms for its tripods and the VlogPod TT38 is part of this same ecosystem. This means that it supports attachment and detachment with the brand’s Uka and F38 quick-release plates.
Shooting Versatility
Aside from the VlogPod TT38’s gimbal system for rapid angle changes, the tripod also offers an assortment of easy-to-deploy shooting modes that include a mantis mode for overhead recording, a kettle mode for low-angles and support for easily following movement.
Ulanzi has also invested in the general ergonomics of the VlogPod TT38 vlogging tripod. Most importantly, it comes with a non-slip silicone grip for a comfortable but firm hold on the tripod even while on the move.
The tripod also offers a respectable 3kg (6.61 lbs) load capacity and silicone pads on its feed for slip-free stability on variable surfaces.
3kg or 6.6 lbs is robust enough to handle pretty much any vlogging camera and even many models of more serious but compact pro videography cameras.
To further boost the tripod’s security during use, Ulanzi has given the VlogPod TT38 a wrist strap for avoiding drops and a generally compact design that won’t bump random objects or get in the way during fieldwork.
As I mentioned above, the VlogPod TT38 is designed mainly with mirrorless camera-using vloggers, social media influencers and YouTubers in mind but it can work just as well for desktop filming, creative multi-angle video recording and field photography.
Size-wise, the VlogPod TT38 is a compact device with folded dimensions of just 252mm (L) x 56mm (W) x 108mm (H), a tripod footprint diameter of 263mm and a weight of only 394g or just under 14 ounces.
Ulanzi’s VlogPod TT38 Tripod is available now for an early-buyer price of just $49.95 USD until August 27, 2024.
Once this limited-time offer expires, the VlogPod TT38’s price goes up to $59.95 USD.
